We Made it Home!

Monday morning we headed home. The flight from San Pedro Sula to Houston was uneventful (other than Todd and I sitting next to a very nice lady that we got to know), but once in Houston we got stuck there. There was this massive thunder and lightening storm that had all planes grounded. First they boarded us, then they had us get off then they re-boarded us and then we sat on the runway for around an hour. I know it could have been worse, but it still was not too much fun. Once we finally got in the air you could turn around and look at the storm. It was this wall of clouds around Houston with huge flashes of lightening going off every couple of seconds. It was crazy to think that we had just flown out of that storm. Really amazing to watch. We got into PDX at 11:15 pm only an hour and a half late although to all of us tired people it felt much later. We are home now a trying to re-adjust to the routines of life without loosing sight of all we saw and did while we were gone.
