Sunday in Honduras
Sunday morning the festival was over so we didn't have many responsibilities, but we did get to go to a church and visit with the people and be a part of their service. When we arrived there were two buildings- one a small run down shack and the other a large cinderblock building that was almost finished. I guess the way they build down there is as they have money they buy a few more cinderblocks and add on the next row. eventually they get to where they need a roof and then doors. Like I said this one was just about done, it had a roof and everything. It was by far the nicest church we had been too. Once again the people were so kind and sweet, and children were adorable. The kids all danced around during worship, super cute! Afterwards we got to attempt to chat with people. There was this one little girl that was so beautiful she would pose for pictures like she wanted to be a fashion model. She also wanted everyones phone numbers. We then headed back to our hotel for lunch. (By the way the food was amazing the whole time) We then had a break and a few of us took a cab down to the market to buy some souvenirs. After that we had one final meeting to wrap up the week and then we went back to our rooms to pack up for our flight home Monday.
