Ahhhhh...

Other than a few final touches (like trim and lighting) we are done with the kitchen. As it always does when it comes to home improvement it took way longer than I expected. We ran into many obstacles (like dry rot in the floors, uneven walls, and bat in the bedroom), but we over came them all and it was WELL worth it. Now that we are moved back into the kitchen we not only gained the kitchen, but also regained the living room and dining room where everything was piled while we worked on the kitchen.

All I can say is ahhhh. It feels so good to be back to normal. It feels as if a huge weight has lifted off of our entire household. I knew it was affecting the kids but I didn't realize how much until it was over. We are all much happier and relaxed people! The kids have been wonderful through the chaos and we are looking forward to having people over again.

A BIG THANK YOU to all that helped whether it was hanging the cabinets (Mike), buying the cabinets (Mom and Dad), tiling (Jamie), Getting us someone to fix the dry rot (John), fixing us dinner and watching our kids (too many people to mention)! We love and appreciate all of you!!!
