If it's Good Enough for the Dog...
So this morning Ian wakes up and I make him his usual Eggo waffle and sit him in his highchair. He takes a few nibbles and then asks to get down. Asking to get down consists of him screeching for a few minutes until he realizes it gets him no where, then he shakes his hands in the air and says, "ahhhh du". If you are not a translator of baby talk that is "All Done". I get him down thinking he hadn't really eaten enough breakfast but I wasn't in the mood to fight with him. A couple of minutes later I realize he is not in my line of sight so I go searching for him. Where is he you ask? Sitting in the laundry room shoving handfuls of dry dog food in his mouth! I scooped him up and out of the laundry room, shutting the door behind me. He was more distraught at me taking the dog food away than the Eggo waffle!!! I guess I will have to find him a cereal or something with the same texture as dry dog food...
