Ian is One!

Our baby is one now. He was born on father's Day last year and it took some explaining to convince Savi that his birthday did not fall on father's Day again this year. It has been a crazy, fast year. Savi is done with Kindergarten and will starting first grade in the Fall. Daniel will be going to another year of pre-school, and Ian has gone from 8 lbs 10 oz to over twenty pounds and trying to walk and talk. He says many things now, but you have to know his language to understand. "tata" is thank you, "ba" is Ball, "Baba" is bottle, "dada" of course daddy, but it can also mean mommy, Daniel or Savi sometimes too. He loves to sing too. If there is music on especially in the car, you can hear him "ba, da, la" to the tune. He is also trying to walk now. His first step was on Thursday, He stepped from Daddy to me, about three steps. Since then he has tried several more times to take a few steps. We are looking forward to a busy summer. I will do my best to keep you updated!
