Gooby Dots

Last night Grandpa Roger came over to work with Todd on the playhouse they are building for the kids in the backyard. The kids love to run around out back and watch while todd and Roger work. After coming in last night Daniel was sitting on my lap trying to get warm. He had gotten a little chilled outside. I looked at his arms and said, "Daniel you have goose bumps!" Obviously no one had ever told him this before because he exclaimed "What are goose bumps?!" I tried to explain what they were saying they were bumps on your skin when you are cold. I then left him to sit on the couch while I put Ian to bed. When I got back and asked him to come snuggle with me in the chair. He stood up and stated, "I'll come sit on your lap to get rid of my gooby dots." I asked him what on earth are gooby dots? He replied, "You know the bumps on your arms when you are cold, Gooby dots." I will forever think of gooby dots when I get cold. I think it is a terrific word that makes me smile each time I think about it! Gooby Dots!!!
